The Ministry of Economy announced on November 23 that the reference prices for gasoline, effective from November 24 to December 7, 2015, will experience reductions of up to - $0.05, note that this is the ninth consecutive redution in regular and special gasoline; while diesel also features new low prices.

The increase in reference prices for this fortnight is because gasoline inventories have experienced their largest decline since February until the last weekly report provided on Wednesday March 20 by the IEA.
In Central America, it is estimated that Operadora de Tiendas, Corporación de Supermercados Unidos, Pricesmart de Panama and Moderna Electronics account for about 10% of total imports of blenders and their parts.
A study by CentralAmericaData's Trade Intelligence Unit shows that GMG Comercial from Guatemala and Costa Rica, and Comercializadora Panamericana are other companies that have a considerable share of the Central American blender market.

During the month of June 2014, the price of WTI (West Texas Intermediate) in the Gulf Coast of the United States had an average value of $98.52 per barrel, showing an increase of +4.99% compared to the previous month. For its part, the international prices of petroleum products showed the following changes in the past few weeks: +2.04% in the price of premium gasoline, +2.0% in the price of regular gasoline and +0.33% in the price of diesel.
