Mexico's Cristobal Colon, a passenger carrier that began operations in Guatemala in 2018, announced that it plans to expand its routes to El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua.
The company currently covers local routes from the Guatemalan capital to Santa Elena, Poptún and El Chal in Petén. It also travels to Huehuetenango, La Mesilla, Camojá and Quetzaltenango, among others, as well as to Tapachula in Mexico.
The Autonomous Executive Port Commission in El Salvador is putting out to tender, for the year 2018, transport services for staff at the Port of Acajutla and the airports of Comalapa and Ilopango.
Government Purchase El Salvador DR-CAFTA-ADACA-UE CEPA-LA-03/2018:
"The purpose is to hire transportation services for the staff of the Port of Acajutla and the International Airports of El Salvador, Monsignor Óscar Arnulfo Romero Y Galdámez and Ilopango, for the year 2018.
