The Secretariat of National Defense of Honduras tenders the satellite signal upload services of the Armed Forces TV Channel, data link and Internet and insertion of the channel in the programming grid.

"The basic procedures for the Satellite Signal Upload and data and internet link with a bandwidth of 30 megabits, signal insertion and TV-HD for the channel Fuerzas Armadas TV are tendered.
In the concession model proposed by the government, one operator can be the virtual operator of a logical channel, management-multiplex concessionaire and / or network administrator at the same time.

The Government of the Republic of Costa Rica, granted 11 experimental permits, supported by the respective legal framework for official broadcasts of terrestrial digital open and free television, as an initial step towards expanding coverage throughout the country.
The government's proposal sets 40 goals which should be completed by 2021, focused on broadcasting, e-government, spectrum, the broadband digital divide and infrastructure.

San Jose, 02 September, 2015. The Ministry of Science, Technology and Telecommunications (MICITT), specifically the Vice Ministry of Telecommunications as a specialized technical body, presents the proposal of the Second National Development Plan for Telecommunications (PNDT) 2015-2021.
45 more days have been granted for operators of frequencies assigned temporarily under the previous legislation to formalize the award and move to other bands in order to allocate current telecommunications services.
The proposal to extend the term given by the Department of Science, Technology and Telecommunications (Micitt) aims to complete the transition of broadcasters who have not yet formalized concessions under the new legislation.
The government aims to update the $6 a year license for concessionaires of radio and television frequencies which has been in effect since 1954, while employers fear a reallocation of spectrum.
The draft bill proposes an increase in the rates for radio and television based on the number of frequencies held by the concessionaire, the type of coverage, the use to be given and the type of diffusion, national or rural.
Even though demand continues to grow, operators are not able to grow due to lack of effective competition in the mobile market and delays in the allocation of spectrum.
A portion of customers in the cellular market and other telecommunications services such as internet and cable television are still dissatisfied, but telecommunications companies are not able to increase their services due to the slow rate at which the rules are set and at which infrastructure problems are addressed.
While mobile and internet operators are asking for more spectrum, concessionaires of radio and television are under utilizing the frequencies assigned to them.
The Superintendency of Telecommunications said radio and television concessionaires are under utilizing the spectrum frequencies assigned to them. '... In radio about 90% of the concessionaires have less than 50% coverage and in television only 6.9% of television channels exceed 70% of coverage assigned on the authorization certificates. "
Costa Rica has initiated meetings to address the change to digital television looking to the Spanish company Ingenia-Telecom as neutral mediator between the government and operators.
In a forum held by the National Chamber of Radio and Television, companies operating open channels emphasized the lack of a public policy to order the transition to digital television.

The Superintendency of Telecommunications has revised its decision to make the return frequencies conditional for cable companies merging with the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad.
The purchase of the cable company Cable Vision by the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE) had been conditional by the Superintendency of Telecommunications (SUTEL) on the waiver of airwaves segments: from 1880 MHz to 1920 MHz (40 MHz), 2520 MHz to 2620 MHz and 2640 MHz to 2690 MHz (150 MHz) and the segment of 3600 MHz to 3440 MHz (160 MHz).

The national system of spectrum management and monitoring project, has as its object the acquisition of land and infrastructure for four fixed monitoring stations, and leasing of all equipment and accessories needed to carry out the management, spectrum monitoring and location emissions that includes at least four fixed stations, two portable stations, 3 mobile stations and a central monitoring and management hub.
