The international chain began to operate in the Santa Ana district of the country's capital a hotel that has 143 rooms and halls for social events.
The new Hilton Garden Inn Santa Ana, will focus on attracting clients from the international and local corporate sector, since the meeting rooms are equipped with the most advanced technology to hold meetings, trainings, seminars, among other activities.
The W Costa Rica hotel, which will offer a total of 151 rooms and is located in Guanacaste, reported that it plans to start operations in November of this year.
An urban resort style five-star hotel called The Santa Maria has opened in Panama City, following an investment of around $50 million.
Representatives from the urban resort The Santa Maria stated that the hotel offers 182 luxury rooms, which have an area that ranges between 40 m2and 300 m2. The infrastructure, which required a global investment of $50 million, has two restaurants and next April they plan to open a third.

The new hotel is located in an area where other hotels under the brands Crowne Radisson, and Barcelo are already operating. The new 115-room hotel is owned by Developer Parque La Sabana DPS SA and managed by Elite Hotels & Resorts Costa Rica.
An announcement has been made that the Blue Bay hotel chain is negotiating with a group of investors to operate a tourist resort consisting of a hotel, a golf course and a beach club on the Pacific coast.
It is expected that by July 1, 2015 the Spanish chain Blue Bay will be fronting a resort in Coronado, in the Panamanian Pacific. The hotel chain already has a presence in Panama and hopes to continue expanding.
In the Gulf of Papagayo the government of Costa Rica has already granted 35 areas in concession, which occupy almost 90% of the total area to be developed.

An announcement has been made for the 2016 opening of a Fairfield hotel by Marriott, a 130-room hotel in San Salvador, situated next to La Gran Via shopping center.

The hotel chain has announced that it will open in 2016, a 147-room Courtyard hotel in zone 10 in Guatemala City.

Marriott International has announced plans to open the first Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Guatemala City. The hotel project was signed with the Azur Group, a family business that invests in real estate, hospitality and restaurants.
Preparations are being made in the country for the opening of two high rise condo projects which combine residential units with hotel facilities and services.
The first 'condo-hotel' project called Ocean, located in Jaco, Puntarenas, is expected to start operations in December and includes an infrastructure of 7,200 square meters. The second project will begin the first phase of construction in the Greater Metropolitan Area in 2016 and will focus on the corporate market.
The industry is looking to regain ground in the country with the expansion of four chains of hotels by the end of 2016.
La Quinta Inns & Suites, Hyatt, Four Seasons and Marriott hotels are to be added to the supply in the Guatemalan market. Zone 10, Quetzaltenango and Antigua are some of the locations that will host these projects.

Latam Hotel Corporation will build and operate, beggining in 2016, a Hyatt Place hotel with 140 rooms in the Cascadas shopping center in San Salvador.
