With an investment of about $36 million, the Social Security Department will be putting out to tender later this year the construction of an Oncology Tower at Hospital Calderon Guardia.
The hospital's director, Dr. Luis Paulino Hernández, told La Prensa Libre, "We are thinking of having five floors, the idea is that we will move the staff we have now and strengthen the hospital with other positions in medical, nursing, nutrition, cleaning and security areas, we will have 60 beds".
