The Dutch company Van Oord - Bam will be in charge of dredging about 220 thousand cubic meters of sand and silt in the port terminal of Moín in Limón, Costa Rica.

The Salvadoran Investment Corporation (CORSAIN) is studying the acquisition of a dredge to clear the access channel to the ports of CORSAIN and those in the Central American Union.

The Panama Canal Authority (ACP) has awarded IHC Engineering Services B.V. the contract for designing and manufacturing a backhoe dredge.
