In El Salvador, the construction of the wastewater treatment plant of the Penitentiary Center of Ciudad Barrios and the expansion of the sewage drainage system in the Penitentiary Center of La Union are tendered.

"The project for the construction of the sewage treatment system in the Ciudad Barrios Penitentiary Center has been designed to sanitarily complement the sewage discharges from said Penitentiary Center; since they are currently discharged into an existing treatment plant that does not comply with the demand of the staff inside the Penitentiary Center.
In Honduras, the construction of sewerage systems, potable water, rainwater drainage and road improvement for 1,071 plots of land in different neighborhoods of the Central District Municipality is being tendered.

The government of Costa Rica has authorized the execution of resources for the road renovation of 270 km of roads and drainage systems starting in the first half of 2019.
The Ministry of National Planning and Economic Policy (Mideplan) approved the execution of the second stage of the Cantonal Road Infrastructure Program (PRVC II), which should be implemented in five years through 110 projects that will improve 270.8 km of cantonal roads and drainage systems.
The Mayor of Managua plans to invest about $10 million in maintenance, cleaning of riverbeds and drainage projects before the rainy season begins.
The 2017 Winter Plan, presented by the Mayor of Managua, includes works such as cleaning river beds, construction of new works, maintenance of streets and drainage projects.

Using a loan from the Andean Development Corporation a wastewater collection system and treatment plant will be built in the districts of Burunga and Arraijan Cabecera.
From a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance in Panama:
A bill regarding a $95 million loan agreement was approved by the National Economic Council (CENA) enabling the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) to sign with the Andean Development Corporation (CAF) a loan for the construction of a sewage collection system and treatment plant in the districts of Burunga and Arraijan Cabecera.
The Ministry of Health in Panama has submitted an Environmental Impact Study to build a sanitation system in Arraiján and La Chorrera, Panama Province West.
The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) study, which was submitted to the Ministry of Environment on October 21, 2016, specifies that "... for the purpose of drainage systems, the suggestion is to separate wastewater collections into two wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), the WWTP 'Arraiján Este' which will collect drainage from systems in the northern part of Arraijan, (Burunga, Perico river, Cáceres river, Potrero river) and the second WWTP -Caimito- will collect most of the drainage systems from the Chorrera and the rest of Arraiján."
The mayoralty of Panama announced that it will renew the area known as El Terraplén, and will invite bids for the construction of drainage, lighting implementation, security cameras and decoration.
The aim of the Mayoral office is for the historic site to become a gateway to the Old Town, the pedestrian area and the Salsipuedes area.

The tender for the study, design, procurement and construction of urban intervention works for the revitalization of the Via España already has four bidders.
The mayoral office of Panama City has presented a development plan which urgently requires investments in mobility, transport, water, drainage, waste management and urban planning.
The so-called Action Plan for the Metropolitan Area, presented in conjunction with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), is already projecting impacting 1.7 million people in the capital city, San Miguelito, Arraiján and La Chorrera, said the Mayor of Panama in a statement.
Through an agreement between the mayor of Managua and the International Cooperation Agency of Japan, a plan will be developed for territorial reorganization, public transport and drainage for the city.
Authorities at the Mayoral office in Managua said the document including the conditions of the project would be ready in 18 months. The plan intends to meet the economic, social and environmental needs of the Nicaraguan capital, by improving the current conditions in the city.
