The Chamber of Commerce in Chiriqui is calling for participation in a business conference to be held from August 23 to 25 at the International Fair of David.

The fourth version of the Business Conference run by the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Chiriqui from August 23 to 25 2016 in the city of David, Chiriqui province, will be the perfect opportunity for domestic producers and companies from the various sectors in the formal economy to sell or buy certified products and services from buyers from Costa Rica, Guatemala, Uruguay, Mexico, Ecuador, Paraguay, Bolivia, China and El Salvador.
A group of industrial companies in the South American country plan to visit the country in late April to explore business opportunities with Nicaraguan businessmen.
The Chilean delegation is composed of representatives from the public and private sectors related to the industrial and recycling area, in order to find out about market and investment opportunities in Nicaragua.
Seven German companies are visiting the country to explore opportunities in sectors related to hydraulic engineering, energy, transportation, agricultural production and health.
A delegation of 10 representatives from seven German businesses will be staying for a week in the country to meet with various business chambers and look for investment opportunities in different sectors, including the project of the Grand Canal.
At the request of the companies interested in participating, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Cortés announced that it has postponed the meeting until early May.

In order to support SMEs starting to export or those who have already exported but want to diversify, AGEXPORT, through its Department of Promotion and Trade Information has created the Macro Rueda Central America and Mexico, with the aim of supporting improved competitiveness of SME's and linking them up to natural markets such as Central America and Mexico.
From 6 to 7 May companies and investors in the sector will be in in San José taking part in business meetings and conferences relevant to franchises in the region.
The second edition of the American Franchise Summit will be held at the Hotel Park Inn, Costa Rica and will involve seven international speakers. The event will last two days and is aimed at 150 franchisees and franchisors investors with the aim of promoting business appointments.
The activity will be held on September 11th in the Atlapa convention center and seeks to bring together providers and companies from around the world.
The Construction Chamber is organizing the business meeting, which will take place during Habitat Expo on September 10th-14th in the Atlapa convention center.

A new trade mission to Germany involving local companies is being coordinated by the German-Nicaraguan Business Club and in September companies from the European country will arrive in Nicaragua.
The German government's initiative intends to further strengthen business and trade relations between the two countries. In 2013 Germany was the fourth largest international purchaser of Nicaraguan products.
On May 7th-8th Colombian exporters of building materials and finishings will meet with companies in the region in Panama City.
The Foreign Trade Promotion Office of Colombia is organizing the V Business Roundtable on building materials and finishes, to be held in Panama City in the Ancon Salon of the Sheraton Hotel .
Guatemalan cardamom producers will have access to best practices and techniques to improve production and increase their exports.

"In order for partnerships, cooperatives, committees and community groups, to work directly with the leaders of the national economy, the Cardamom Committee at AGEXPORT, under the Rural Agro Meeting to be held on 20 and 21 March 2014, in Coban, Alta Verapaz, is inviting cardamom producers to work together through an Agricultural Export Network, which will serve to facilitate the transfer of technology to farmers in different themes, so that they can take advantage of new business opportunities.
From November 27 to December 1 the Fair of the Americas will be held in Florida, USA, an event which involves some 500 SMEs from Central America.
This event is considered the largest showcase for Central American products in America. "At its launch in Nicaragua, Eduardo Arroyo, president of the Fair of the Americas, encouraged entrepreneurs to participate in the event, which will guarantee being put in contact with a market of 300 million consumers ...", reported Laprensa.hn article.
During the "V Migrant Encounter 2012", Guatemalan businessmen living in the United States will meet with local business representatives.
The meeting is part of the government's strategy to increase investment levels in Guatemala, and especially by having some of the billions of dollars that are sent by Guatemalans living abroad invested in productive enterprises.
Between 22 and 29 of October Guatemalan businessmen will be exploring business opportunities in various sectors of the Italian economy.
During the trade mission, organized by the Italian-Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Agexport, deals are expected to be struck worth around $1 million.
