The first diplomatic headquarters that the Central American country is opening in the African continent will be located in Kenya.

April 6, 2018The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Manuel A. González Sanz, inaugurated the Embassy of Costa Rica in the Republic of Kenya in Africa and whose resident Ambassador is Marta Eugenia Juárez Ruiz.
Sustainable economic development requires the maximization of these three factors in a combined form.

The hotel will serve as an excellent accommodation choice for frequent business travelers. The hotel will be developed by Dueñas Hermanos Ltda. And managed by Marriott International under a long-term agreement.
The hotel chain has announced that it will open in 2016, a 147-room Courtyard hotel in zone 10 in Guatemala City.

Marriott International has announced plans to open the first Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Guatemala City. The hotel project was signed with the Azur Group, a family business that invests in real estate, hospitality and restaurants.
Preparations are being made in the country for the opening of two high rise condo projects which combine residential units with hotel facilities and services.
The first 'condo-hotel' project called Ocean, located in Jaco, Puntarenas, is expected to start operations in December and includes an infrastructure of 7,200 square meters. The second project will begin the first phase of construction in the Greater Metropolitan Area in 2016 and will focus on the corporate market.

Greenfield Resources has initiated efforts to request the reopening of the Remance mine, in which it plans to invest $110 million.
16 years since the closure of the mine, caused by the collapse of the gold price in the international market, the Panamanian company Greenfield Resources Inc. has asked the National Environmental Authority (ANAM) for approval of an environmental impact assessment (EIA) in order to reactivate their exploitation activities. The site in the province of Veraguas has projected a production life of 12 years and to exploit it the company plans to install a plant with initial capacity to process 5000 tons per day of the material, with projections to increase this to 7000 tonnes.
