Over 20 approved road infrastructure projects will go out to tender starting on July.
Napoleón Bográn, from the Honduran Civil Engineers Association, recommended the government to use better quality materials when building roads and highways, noting that the current poor state of the country’s road network is a result of low-quality supplies.
“As an additional consideration, Bográn recommended hiring more competent companies to supervise the works, striking an adequate balance between how much work is done and how efficiently resources are used”, reported Laprensa.hn.
