Dairy imports into Honduras remained stable between 2013 and 2014, increasing by only 4% in each year, making a total of $42 million worth of imports in 2014.
Within the sector of dairy imports the product which increased the most was milk and cream , going from $15 million in 2013 to $20 million in 2014, which is an increase of 33% in imports.
In 2014 imports of food preparations totalled $115 million, which is an increase of 22% compared to 2013.
Within this category, imports of composite preparations for the beverage industry recorded an increase of $18 million between 2014 and 2013, making a total of $53 million last year.In turn, imports of bread improvers recorded increase of 88% between the two years, going from $2 million in 2013 to $4 million in 2014.

The Business Intelligence unit at CentralAmericaData.COM has released its latest report on the construction sector: "Construction Projects in Costa Rica - January 2015", which includes a list of major construction projects which in January submitted environmental impact studies to the National Environmental Technical Secretariat.
In 2011 the country imported $251 million worth of clothes, an increase of 12% compared to the previous year.

Imports of men and childrens shirts increased by 46% between 2010 and 2011, going from $18.1 million to $26.5 million imported in 2011.
Meanwhile, imports of suits, ensembles, jackets (coats), dresses, skirts, skirt-shorts,trousers, breeches, and shorts, and shorts for women and girls increased by 13% between 2010 and 2011, and represented the largest increase in monetary level, going from $66 million to $74.7 million imported in 2011.
Chicken meat imports in Costa Rica had a growth of 57% in 2012 over the previous year, while beef only grew 46%.

In 2012 the country imported $48.3 million worth, an increase of 28% compared to the previous year.
Imports of frozen bovine meat recorded the highest increase in monetary terms, with imports in 2012 having increased by more than $4.4 million compared with the previous year, going from $9.6 million in 2011 to approximately $14 million in 2012.
In 2012 the country imported $232.5 million worth of fertilizers, a decrease of 6% compared to last year.
