The agreement of cooperation includes areas such as exports, imports, investment, formation of new businesses, and other commercially oriented activities.
The objective of the accord, which will last for two year and is subject to extension, is to strengthen the Canaries companies in Panama and Panamanian companies in Santa Cruz, Tenerife.
Both Chambers agreed to support and strengthen the exchange of trade delegations, in order to offer new opportunities to make business contacts, visits and interviews, according to the text of the accord which Acan-Efe was able to access.
The Chamber of Trade, Industries and Agriculture of Panama will send a trade mission to Argentina in October, to strengthen business relations between both countries.
The president of the Panama Chamber of Trade, Jose Varela, said that for that mission, set for the 26th to the 29th of October, they expect to have the participation of more than 15 Panamanian businesses that will have the possibility of entering Argentinian markets such as food, machinery, and 11 other activities.
