In the next two years the province will receive new urban, industrial and commercial investments.
County mayor, José Manuel Ulate, referred to construction permits in the last year, which would start in the next two years. The Ulloa district and around new Hospital San Vicente de Paul have received the most request for permits.
"The hospital came to generate added value to adjoining land and impulse a number of construction projects," said Ulate to Elfinancierocr.com.
It comprises building a 500-kilometer sewer network in eight localities of the province of Heredia.
The state will contribute $30 million, and the rest will be obtained via a securitization trust managed by Banco Nacional. The project will be developed by the Public Services Company of Heredia (ESPH).
"Francisco Angulo, project leader at ESPH, explained that the project will be executed in phases, and will be developed over 15 years", reported Nacion.com. "The first phase will cover the central area of Heredia and San Rafael, with works beginning mid-2011, and will require 5 years to complete".
Alianza Francesa will inaugurate on August 2009, its new facility in Heredia, with capacity for 200 students.
Being that the facility is located close to industrial areas, the language teaching company will focus on corporate clients.
In an article in Elfinancierocr.com, the sub director of Alianza Francesa, Nathalie Le Coutour, states: "There is a lot of potential in the province [Heredia], no only for teaching the French language, but also because the population is eager for cultural activities. We want to export a small piece of France to Heredia"
