Empresa Tomza Guatemala S.A. reported that in Nicaragua the government of President Daniel Ortega illegally expropriated and confiscated the company's assets, which together amount to $4 million in investments.
The expropriation process took several years. Tomza executives explained that in 2015 they were granted the permits for the construction of a property located in the municipality of Tipitapa, department of Managua.

In the first days of March of this year, the highest prices were reported in the Dominican Republic, while the lowest were registered in the Panamanian capital.

"The contract price will include all materials and labor required for the complete execution of the works and the correct and complete execution of the works, as well as equipment, auxiliary and protection elements, tools, auxiliary labor, and generally everything related to a complete and perfect finish of each of the energy meters to be installed in the National Transmission Grid indicated in these bidding documents, as well as any indirect costs of the works, general expenses, wages, salaries, fees, hauling of materials and any other payment required in the work.
In Nicaragua, the company New Fortress Energy announced that it has already started with the construction works of a natural gas plant, which will have an energy generation capacity of 300 MW and will be located near Puerto Sandino, department of León.
Executives of the North American company stated that the project has begun its decisive phase and according to the schedule, it is expected that between May and June the generating plant will begin operations.
