The Panamanian government announced that it had reached an agreement with the Costa Rican authorities that Panamanian heavy transport units would be given a 72-hour period to load and unload goods in tax offices.
The International Encounter for Strategic Management of Cargo Transportation and External Trade will take place from December 2 to 5 in Panama City.
Agusto Robinson, president of the Panamanian-Colombian Industry Chamber, explained the encounter will show Colombian businessmen what Panama offers as a multimodal center for cargo transportation.
