In order to deal with part of the problem of surgery delays, the Social Security Fund of Costa Rica has authorized the leasing of operating rooms in private hospitals.
From a statement issued by the Costa Rican Social Security Fund:
July 20, 2018.The Board of Directors of the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) took the decision, this Thursday, unanimously and exceptionally, to authorize the lease of integral services of operating rooms and patient recovery rooms in private hospitals, with the purpose of attending to the surgical needs of hundreds of patients at Mexico hospital.
5 companies have submitted bids to build a water treatment plant.
The winning company will be announced by the end of February, will be responsible of building the $2 million facility before the end of 2010.
The interested companies are Constructora Lyon, Constructora Francisco Herrarte Hernández, Mercadeo del Agua, Constructora de Obras Viales, Instalaciones y Estructuras and Durman Esquivel Guatemala.
