In Panama, Bagatrac, S.A. was awarded the contract for the rehabilitation and widening of the La Concepción - Cuesta Piedra - Volcán highway, in the province of Chiriquí.
For the contracting process the companies that participated were Puentes y Calzadas Infraestructura S.L.U. with a proposal that reached $91.6 million, that of Mota-Engil S.A. to $89.9 million, that of Asfaltos Panameños S.A.
Conalvias Construcciones was awarded the contract to restore the streets of the townships of Caimitillo, Ernesto Córdoba, Las Cumbres, Alcalde Díaz and Chilibre, in the district of Panama.

In Panama the consortium made up of Constructora Urbana and Constructora de Infraestructura submitted a proposal in the tender to readjust the north and south corridors to three lanes.
The project consists of altering the North and South Corridors to operate three lanes in each direction (6 lanes in total) continuously during their normal operations and during critical morning and afternoon schedules; So that one of the lanes works exclusively in counterflow for use by the transport system, ie, Bus Only. Constructora Meco won the contract to build a taxiway connecting the two terminals at Tocumen International Airport in Panama.
The work involves the design and construction of the street S4 and the extension of Street L1 in the International Airport in Panama City. The Costa Rican construction firm Meco won the contract with an economic proposal of $12.8 million, lower than all of the bids submitted by the other four participants in the tender.
Thirteen consortia took part in the meeting for approval of the tender to build the first phase of the parking lots for terminal 2 of Panama City airport.

In Panama the companies Bagatrac and Asociación Accidental Caminos de Darié, composed of Cusa and Toronto Global Holdings Corp. will renovate 100 kms of the Pan American Highway.
