Proposals presented in Panama in the tender for the renovation of streets in the townships of Caimitillo, Ernesto Córdoba, Las Cumbres, Alcalde Díaz and Chilibre range from $27.7 million to $30.6 million.
The works consist of the Renovation of Streets in the District of Panama, Districts of: Mayor Diaz, Caimitillo, Chilibre, Ernesto Cordoba Campos and Las Cumbres, in the Province of Panama, where the Tenderers must consider the conditions in which the existing road is, and the obligation that the Proposals are compatible in such a manner as to allow its effective and efficient execution.
Six consortia presented proposals that totaled $13 million in the tender to design and build an interchange at the vehicular bridge at the Interamericana in Penonomé, Panama.

Consorcio Intercambiador de Penonomé (investments FJ. SA) and Conalvías Construcciones S.A. Sucursal Panamá: $13,279,148.94.
Between $26.4 million and $27.8 million is the range of five proposals submitted by five consortiums for the urban renewal project Calle Uruguay, Bella Vista.
Taking part in the tender were Ortiz Construcciones y Proyectos, S.A. with a proposal of $27.8 million.The Companies Constructora Meco, S.A.; MCM Global consortium, made up Munilla Construction Management LLC / MCM Global, S.A., Conalvías Construcciones, and Asociación Accidental C&C Construye.The four companies submitted economic bids of $26.4 million.
Out of three equal bids, the Costa Rican company Meco was awarded the contract for the construction of a road interchange at the former Howard military base.
The construction company beat its opponents Conalvías and Urban Construction SA (Cusa) in the final evaluation, after the three companies bid the same amount for the implementation of the project which will connect to the Centennial Bridge in the future.
Conalvías, Meco and Constructora Urbana submitted proposals with a difference of one dollar in the tender to build the road interchange at the former Howard military base.
Seven companies were initially interested in the tender conducted by the Ministry of Public Works and whose reference price $33 million.
Conalvías, Meco and Constructora Urbana presented almost identical analysis, with a difference of only one dollar and two cents.
A clarification meeting has been for the tender for an interchange on the Panamerican highway road whose reference price is $33 million.
The companies who attended the clarification meeting held by the Ministry of Public Works were: FCC Construcción de Centroamérica S.A., Alquileres y Ventas Panedi, Conalvías S.A., Ceiusa, Conconcreto, Constructora Meco S.A., and Heliopol PMA.
Contracts for $922 million were awarded to five companies for expanding and renovating 185 kilometers of the Inter American Highway.
The value of the works has exceeded the estimate made by the Ministry of Economy and Finance of $750 million. The construction company Norberto Odebrecht was awarded 71.24 kilometers from Santiago- Vigui. Its financial proposal was $339.5 million and the MOP's reference price was $352.8 million.
Ten construction companies and nine service companies attended the pre tender meeting for establishing the specifications for the expansion to four lanes of the Inter American Highway from Veraguas to Viguí.

Four companies have submitted bids in the tender for the construction and equipping of a Public Market in Chitre whose official reference price was $27 million.

A total of four companies submitted proposals for the construction and equipping of a Public Market in Chitre, in the tender organized by the Secretariat of the Cold Chain, a work which is being conducted by the government and will benefit over 60,000 people in the region of Azuero .
The Brazilian company Norberto Odebrecht, with an bidding price of $679.4 million, will build the South Terminal of Tocumen International Airport.
The tender also featured the participation of Costa Rican Meco, Conalvías group from Colombia, and the China Harbour Engineering Company. A total of 33 companies were interested in bidding, participating in the approval process of the tender.
The technical proposals have finally been opened in the tender for the construction of a South Terminal at Tocumen International Airport, which will require an investment of $600 million.
The Brazilian company Norberto Odebrecht, Costa Rica's Meco, and Grupo Conalvías from Colombia, along with the China Harbour Engineering Company, were the four companies who submitted proposals for the required technical and financial proposals.

The government today received bid for projects to improve the water and sewage system in Panama and San Miguelito.
The Panamanian Civil Aviation Authority has received three bids for the construction of the airport in Rio Hato.
Of the 18 companies that had initially shown interest in the work, only the construction companies Riva S.A., Meco S.A. and Conalvías submitted bids.
With a reference price of $16.3 million, the bids were $ 15.9 million by Argentinian Riva, $17.3 million by Costa Rican Meco, and $ 18.3 million by Colombian Conalvías.
