From October 30 to November 3, a delegation of government officials and businessmen will be visiting Havana to explore business opportunities.
The visit will take place within the framework of the International Fair of Havana FIHAV 2017, an international investment forum organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba and the government.
The Central American Cruise Summit 2017 will be held in San Pedro Sula from May 10 to 12, and is expected to include the participation of 200 people linked to the tourist industry in the region.
At the summit organized every year by the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association issues will be discussed such as tourism development, ports, tourism operations and security for tourists, among other issues related to the cruise industry.
From June 21st to 28th, 2015, Antigua will be hosting the Council of the International Sugar Organization.
During the last council held in London, the city of Antigua, Guatemala, was designated as the next site to receive the XLVII Council of the International Sugar Organization.

The Latin America-China Business Summit was held on November 26th and 27th in Costa Rica with more than 1,200 employers in regions with growing commercial exchanges.
Chinese and Latin American entrepreneurs gathered for two days for business meetings, contributing to increased trade in Latin America with the Asian country, which is already a commercial destination of prime importance for this region.
On 26 and 27 November, the Hotel Real Intercontinental in San Jose, Costa Rica will host a business meeting between China and Latin America.

The XIII National Private Enterprise Conference 2013 will be held on April 29, and will focus on the role of businesses and the investment climate.

Costa Rica will host the sixth China - Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) Business Summit, to be held in October 2013.
The summit organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB) seeks to strengthen trade relations between the two regions.

The Autonomous Cooperative Institute has announced that in 2012 to mark the International Year of Cooperatives, the country will host the Second Summit of the Americas Cooperative.

This announcement was made by President of the Republic, Ricardo Martinelli, who said that this event is of great importance for the country as the cooperatives have become a key factor for economic and social development, as well as contributing to the eradication of poverty.
The summit, which attracted about 200 businessmen from both countries, seeks to cement trade relations.
Business appointments are made based on interests presented by Chinese entrepreneurs in sectors such as industry, food, construction, technology and meat.
Additionally, the conference promotes Costa Rican exports with 11 booths which allow attendees to taste products such as palm and coffee liqueur.
With participation from businessmen of both countries on March 24, 25 and 26, the summit will be held in San José, Costa Rica.
This was announced today by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Trade (COMEX), the Promotora de Comercio Exterior (PROCOMER) and the Costa Rican Coalition for Development Initiatives (CINDE), who emphasized that the primary objectives of the meeting is to strengthen trade and investment opportunities between the two countries, taking advantage of the inauguration activities of the National Stadium.
