Guatemala, July 31, 2014 - The Foundation for the Development of Guatemala, FUNDESA , has presented the eleventh edition of the program of the National Meeting of Businessmen, ENADE 2014, which will take place on Thursday, October 9 from 14: 00 hours in the Convention Center of the Hotel Westin Camino Real.
A convention on the rice market and related technology will be held with companies in Central America and other regions from 27 to 29 May.
105 companies, from Latin America, the U.S., Canada, Europe and Africa are already registered for the event and it is expected that eventually there will be 600 members of the global rice industry taking part in the activity.
Excessive bureaucracy continues to impede the progress of business and conventions tourism in the country, losing opportunities to neighbors like Panama.

Costa Rican businesses from all sectors will be involved in a business negotiation event with Panamanian companies on Thursday in San Jose.
According to Katherine Chavez, director of foreign trade of the Costa Rican Chamber of Importers (Crecex), the organizing body, 170 domestic firms will have about 30 minutes to present their products and services and finalize new business.
