The Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers is planning to put out to tender improvement works to existing wells and drilling of 95 others in different parts of the country.

On October 30 MJ Inversiones SA de C.V. was awarded the project "Bringing drinking water to the colonies, villages and townships in the coastal area that do not have clean water in the municipality of San Francisco Menéndez, Ahuachapán" in the amount of $6,999,797 million.
