The first three trade missions organized for exporters in Guatemala will focus on the potential of mass consumer and agricultural products in those markets.

The Trade Intelligence Unit of the Department of Market Development and Commercial Promotion of AGEXPORT, will carry out in 2019 different commercial missions towards the "Best Markets & Best Products" selected by AGEXPORT to open, strengthen and consolidate business opportunities for Guatemalan companies.
The union is made up of 50 Salvadoran companies, and aims to promote opportunities for commercial exchange with companies in the European country.
Last week the Bilateral Chamber of Commerce of the Netherlands in Central America (NETHCHAM) was inaugurated, which will mainly seek to increase exports from El Salvador to the Netherlands.
In Guatemala a trade mission to the US city is being organized for November 5 to 9 for export companies of fresh and manufactured products geared towards the retail segment.
The Business Intelligence Unit at AGEXPORT's Market Development and Commercial Promotion Department is calling on entrepreneurs from the agricultural and manufacturing sectors to be part of the Commercial Mission to Chicago in the United States, from November 05 to November 2018.
More tourism and the promotion of Dominican exports to the European country, are some of the benefits expected to be gained from the agreement signed between businessmen from both countries.
The cooperation agreement between the National Confederation of Agricultural Producers (Confenagro) and the Dominican-Russian Chamber of Commerce, aims to promote exports of Dominican products to Russia, facilitate joint investments, and promote tourism and cooperation.

The president of the union, David Huezo, told Elmundo.sv that "... the Chamber 'will promote activities that will allow it to position itself as a national and regional reference entity in the active support and promotion of opportunities for commercial exchange with the United Kingdom'."
With the aim of increasing trade relations between both countries, efforts will be made to facilitate customs and consular procedures, in order to expedite border procedures and others.
The president of the Nicaraguan - Costa Rican Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Mario Solano Salazar, recently called on the various companies that maintain commercial relations with Costa Rica, and the main companies founded with Costa Rican capital, to reactivate, on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, in the the Embassy of Costa Rica in Nicaragua, the Nicaraguan - Costa Rican Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CADICONIC), in order to strengthen the expansion of trade relations between both countries and to facilitate customs and consular procedures so as to expedite the procedures related to border and procedural matters.
On October 18, businessmen from the region will be gathering together in Guatemala City to participate in business meetings and conferences on topics related to industry, innovation and business.
