Trade missions in America, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean will be meeting in Panama, in the traditional annual event where companies will have an opportunity to generate new business.
Expocomer 2017 will include the participation of entrepreneurs from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, the Caribbean and Africa, Colombia, Costa Rica, Korea, Cuba, Chile, China, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, the United States, Guatemala, India, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Taiwan, Turkey and Venezuela; and for the first time, Canada and Nigeria.
The trade fair in Panama starts with 120 buyers in Central America and the Caribbean in the Atlapa Convention Center.
In 2015, Expocomer managed transactions totalling $124 million and for the 2016 edition the organizers expect a similar or higher figure, as it has now sold out, according to statements made to Anpanama.com by Raul Delvalle, President of the Organizing Committee of Expocomer 2016.
The event received around 10,500 visitors and in the business meetings 1,350 contacts were made.

The Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture in Panama (CCIAP) closed the thirty-third version of Expocomer with complete success, having made significant contributions to the economy of Panama and exhibitor countries who took part in business meetings over four days at this important international trade show.
On October 1st and 2nd Central American entrepreneurs in the manufacturing sector in Guatemala will be meeting with international buyers from supermarkets, convenience centers, importers and distributors.

On March 11th to 14th 2015 the thirty-third edition of the international trade fair, Expocomer, will be held in the Atlapa Convention Center.

The Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP) has officially presented its pinnacle event, the XXXIII version of Expocomer "The World Trade Showcase" to be held from 11 to 14 March 2015 at the ATLAPA Convention Center.
The economic impact of the trade show attended by 107 international buyers has been estimated at $40 million .

More than 500 companies from 30 countries are taking part in the most important international trade show in the region.

"With the collaboration of more than 500 companies from over 30 countries from North, South and Central America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia, the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP) today opened Expocomer 2014, the thirty-second version of the most important trade show in Panama and the region.
"In this edition the quality of buyers greatly improved . The vast majority of those who are here are really interested in doing business. "
The 23rd edition of the Expocomer closed on Saturday having conducted $80 million worth of transactions and made an impact on the local economy of $35 million, $5 million more than in 2012. In addition, many of the entrepreneurs who attended the event were able to start negotiations which they expect to close in the next few months.
With almost a month to go before the start of Expocomer, 100% of the 14,000 square meters of the Atlapa Convention Center has already been sold.
So announced Raul Delvalle, president of the organizing committee, who said that in this version participants are expected from over 30 countries in America, Europe and Asia.
"Business appointments are being made for international exhibitors with whom we hope to exceed expectations in previous years.
There were more than 10,200 business contacts, and within the Business Center at EXPOCOMER, 4,654 business appointments took place.

Since 1983, the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama has organized every year in March, EXPOCOMER, an International Exhibition of a general nature, which has become "a Showcase for World Trade", and is one of the most notable events in the region.
The continued success of the event lies in the professionalism of the services offered to exhibitors and buyers, and the importance of business contacts that it propitiates.
EXPOCOMER 2012, presents the thirtieth successful and consecutive version of the exhibition, organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP).
EXPOCOMER is the brainchild of Dominador Kaiser Bazan (RIP), President of the CCIAP for the period 1982-1983, and Juan Jose Garcia, who chaired the first Organizing Committee for the exhibition. Sixteen active visionary members of the guild, have followed them have contributed to the evolution of the event over three decades.
The event will take place between 4th to 7th October 2011 at the World Trade Center in Mexico City.
The 1st. MesoAmerican Business Meeting will bring together businessmen from Guatemala, Belize, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, The Dominican Republic and Mexico to present products, conduct business meetings and understand the business needs of each of these countries as well as being informed about legal requirements and success stories of foreign companies doing business in the region.
500 companies from 23 countries will participate in the Expocomer 2010, to take place in Panama from March 3rd to 6th.
Its organizers expect more than $110 million in deals, as it was in the past three editions of the event.
“The largest pavilion in Expocomer 2010 is the Chinese one, with 80 modules, followed by Taiwan with 62, and Mexico and Colombia, with 50 each”, reported Prensa.com.
Israeli authorities announced their intention of discussing and negotiating a potential Free Trade Agreement with Panama.
Among the plans to bring the two countries closer together, Israel will participate in international trade fair Expocomer 2010, explained Rafael Harpaz, Israel's Economic Matters director for Latin America.
"Harpaz commented he will return to Panama for trade fair Expocomer, in March 2010, leading a large delegation of Israeli businessmen, and highlighted Panama's 'huge potential' as a developing country and as a platform for reaching the region", reported Pa-digital.com.pa. "Some industries with room for investment and business opportunities are pharmaceutics, technology, internet, software, optics, home security, alternative energy generation, among others".
