The trade show MANUFEXPORT to be held on October 1st - 2nd will bring together companies in the region and international buyers.

"AGEXPORT and the Chamber of Industry have jointly organized MANUFEXPORT 2014, Special Edition where 100 buyers from the U.S., Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean and Colombia will discover the range of food and beverages (perishable and non-perishable) plastics, personal care and cosmetics, cleaning products, paper converters and processors, and for the first time the categories of home furnishings, clothing, accessories and footwear for sale at stands."
On March 24th and 25th Central American companies supplying the hotel and restaurant industry will meet in El Salvador.
El Salvador will be hosting the fifth edition of the Regional Provider Fair "Ferprotur 2014" for the hotel and restaurant industry, which will be held on 24 and 25 March in San Salvador.
In the fifth edition of Ferprotur national and international companies providing products, goods and services for the hotel and restaurant industry will come together.
On March 29th and 30th tourism companies from 10 countries will be taking part in business meetings with local companies.
Tourism businesses from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Chile, El Salvador, the USA, Guatemala, Panama and Venezuela will gather together on 29th and 30th of March in Nicaragua, where the Central American nation's second summer tourism fair will be held.
The participation of countries such as India and Turkey at the trade fair taking place from 26th to 29th of March reflects the interest in the region that exists globally.
Organizers of the Panamanian trade fair Expocomer explained to Mexican businessmen that the event is becoming increasingly global, confirming the interest in the region aroused from businesses around the globe.
From November 27th to 29th electricity companies from Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua will take part in the International Fair for Electricity Industry (FISE) 2013 in Colombia.
The fifth version of the show which will feature goods and services such as transformers, engineering works, bulbs for public lighting and other things, will be held in Medellin.
The event aimed at promoting innovation and the technological development of the food industry in El Salvador will be held on the 27th and 28th August.

The Ministry of Economy (MINEC) and the Proinnova Program run by the Salvadoran Foundation for Economic and Social Development (FUSADES) through the Sectoral Group "Invent Food and Beverages" will be holding on the 27th and 28th of August 2013 the event entitled the 2nd Food & Beverage Technology Summit 2013, which will be supported by the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF), a member of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
Three more countries have joined the 32 who attended the event last year, the most noteworthy being China, India and Taiwan with larger pavilions.
Three countries more than in 2012 will participate in the Expocomer fair which has registered transactions totaling more than $100 million over the past three years. Continental China, India and Taiwan have the largest pavilions at the event.
With almost a month to go before the start of Expocomer, 100% of the 14,000 square meters of the Atlapa Convention Center has already been sold.
So announced Raul Delvalle, president of the organizing committee, who said that in this version participants are expected from over 30 countries in America, Europe and Asia.
"Business appointments are being made for international exhibitors with whom we hope to exceed expectations in previous years.
During the fair is estimated that deals will be made for over $250 million, and that there will be participation by companies from the USA, Canada, Spain and other European countries.
CAPAC Expo Habitat 2013 is the International Construction and Housing Fair organized every year by the Panamanian Chamber of Construction (CAPAC).
This fair will be held from 11 to 15 September at the Atlapa Convention Center Panama, Panama City.
Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Nicaragua and El Salvador are being represented at the International Fair for Coffee, Tea and Spirits, being held in Taipei.
From today, November 25th to the 28th, a group of young business people will be promoting coffee, rum and cigars, with the aim of increasing exports to that country.
According to an article in Reuters: "Consumption and import of coffee has experienced a sharp rise in Taiwan, rising from $35 million spent in 2004 to $69 million in 2009, said organizers of the fair.
The event will take place between 4th to 7th October 2011 at the World Trade Center in Mexico City.
The 1st. MesoAmerican Business Meeting will bring together businessmen from Guatemala, Belize, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, The Dominican Republic and Mexico to present products, conduct business meetings and understand the business needs of each of these countries as well as being informed about legal requirements and success stories of foreign companies doing business in the region.
The second round of EuroExpo 2010 will take place from 19 to 22 July in Guatemala.
The event was initially scheduled for 31 May to 3 June but was postponed due to the eruption of the Pacaya volcano that led to the closure of Guatemala's international airport for several days.

The sixth edition of the so called “Feria Chapina” (Guatemalan Fair), will take place at the Hollywood Park Casino in Inglewood, California, from August 27 to 29.
It is organized by Evefer (“Eventos y Ferias Internacionales”) and supported by the Government of Guatemala. Over 100 Central American companies are expected to participate.
“Juan Luis Martínez, Evefer president, said that they expect 60.000 visitors”, reported Prensalibre.com.
100 companies from Central America and Europe will participate in this event, between May 31 and June 3.
Dayana Aceituno, member of the organizing committee of the II Central American Euro Expo Trade Show, commented they expect participants to close deals for between $15 and $20 million at the event.

The latest in packaging and processing will be showcased at EXPO PACK Mexico 2010 and PROCESA 2010, to take place in Mexico from June 22 to 25.
The two simultaneous events will be attended by 25,000 buyers from over 25 countries, as well as packaging professionals from all major Mexican States, and delegations from Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Honduras.
