The embassy of the Asian country in Santo Domingo will focus on attracting Chinese investors and offering facilities for Dominican entrepreneurs to develop their business in China.
Fu Xinrong, Chargé d'Affaires at the Diplomatic Mission, informed Eldinero.com.do that "... the Embassy will have more functions with the integration of Political Advisers and Economic and Commercial Affairs, as well as a Military Attaché, with the consular service being the most noteworthy."
The objective is to promote, expand and diversify economic, trade, investment and tourism links between the two nations.

The Foreign Minister, Jaime Miranda Flamenco, officially opened on October 31 a Commercial Office in El Salvador Sao Paulo, Brazil, in order to promote, expand and diversify economic, trade, investment and tourism links between this nation and the South American country.
In order to exploit the opportunities offered by the Chinese market, the Salvadoran government is studying a way to do it without affecting relations with Taiwan.
A study of relations with People's Republic of China, conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of El Salvador concluded that for this year, 2013, the country could open a commercial office in the Asian nation.
