The Chamber of Foreign Trade of Costa Rica is recruiting businessmen who wish to attend a business roundtable, to be held from May 13 to 17 in the city of Brusque, Santa Catalina in southern Brazil.
Depending on the profile of each company, there is the option of covering tickets and lodging for one attendee per company at the event, informed authorities of the Costa Rican Chamber of Foreign Trade (Crecex).
From April 16 to 17, Costa Rican businessmen will participate in the "Polaris" fair, which will take place in the city of Athens, Greece, where they will have business meetings with 100 European buyers of frozen fruit.
With the aim of seeking new market niches, 50 Costa Rican producers will participate in meetings with businessmen from Europe, was reported in a statement.
On August 17th and 18th seven food exporting companies will be showcasing in El Salvador products such as tea, juices, sauces, chocolates, coffee, spices and nutritional supplements.
The Foreign Trade Promotion Office of Costa Rica is organizing the activity, which is aimed at importers, distributors and buyers of Salvadoran food. The meetings will be held at the Holiday Inn hotel in San Salvador, from 8 am to 5 pm.
Ten manufacturers of medical equipment, cosmetics, food supplements and biotechnology products will meet with entrepreneurs from Costa Rica to explore business opportunities.
Small and medium Chilean companies trying to enter the Central American market this year, through lines of copper-based creams sun blocks, physical rehabilitation equipment, electro-stimulation systems and radiological shielding.

Chilean Companies selling cosmetics, medical supplies and products for radiology will be visiting Costa Rica and El Salvador from November 24th to 26th in search of distributors or dealers for their products.

In order to enhance trade between Chile and Costa Rica, on Monday November 24 several Chilean companies specializing in sectors such as cosmetics, sunglasses, eyeglasses, dental chairs and radiation protection items will be in the country offering their products to future local customers.
Between October 28th and 30th, Guatemala City will host a meeting between businessmen from various productive sectors in Spain and representatives from Central American companies.
This multilateral meeting aims to find business opportunities in the energy industry, transport, water and real estate development, among others.
A group of 45 Colombian companies will visit Costa Rica and Guatemala to hold business meetings with entrepreneurs in these sectors.
Business meetings will be held on March 24th when the trade mission will be in San Jose, Costa Rica, and on March 25th it will move on to Guatemala City.

From 13th to 16th of August, Peruvian entrepreneurs from the food, manufacturing, services and clothing industries will be promoting ExpoPerú Central America 2013 in Panama and Costa Rica.

The mission is being organized by the Foreign Trade Promotion Office (Procomer) and will be held at the Hotel Real Intercontinental, San Jose.
The event will be attended by some 200 international companies who will do business with approximately 317 companies through business meetings, exhibition stands, conferences, as well as having a showroom.
On 26th and 27th of November 500 Chinese businessmen will take part in business meetings with 300 representatives from Latin American companies seeking to generate new business.
According to Anabel Gonzalez, Minister of Foreign Trade, they expect the involvement of 300 employers in the region and they have been organizing business meetings for the summit in the form of plenary sessions, parallel meetings and roundtable discussions at high-level .
From 10th to July 14th, 20 companies in the state of Florida in areas dedicated to technology, tourism and industry, will be looking for business in the country.
The activity is being organized by the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) who will assist companies such as Vestal & Wile, Puerto Cape Canaveral and the airline JetBlue, as well as lawyers with experience in international law and migration.
From 18th to 20th of June, the mission "Business Opportunities Costa Rica- Colombia: Free Trade, investment and green business", will be in search of new business deals and will promote the country's export supply.
In the first trade mission of this type, organized by the Foreign Trade Promotion Office (Procomer) the companies taking part include: RainForest Water, Sweet Well, Orgánicos Ecogreen, Alimentos Kamuk, Cafe Britt, Manza-Tea, Bufete Arias & Muñoz, Ampo and MicroTechnologies.
Four Costa Rican companies from the area of packaging and containers participated in business meetings with Honduran entrepreneurs in order to establish direct business relations.
The event was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Cortes (CCIC), where entrepreneurs were supported by the Costa Rican Foreign Trade Promotion Office (Procomer).
