Georgia Institute of Technology will open a center for education in Costa Ria for the management of warehouses and logistics.
Georgia Tech Trade Chain Innovation and Productivity Center is designed for teaching alumni and company executives about bettering supply chains and logistics. Additionally, the center will have a strong focus foreign trade, according to the executive director of Tech’s Supply Chain & Logistics Institute to the portal Global Atlanta.

Starting on September 7th, Maersk Logistics and Damco will be merged, both are part of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group. They will become Damco. Currently, Maersk Logistics is the brand with which the Group offers its supply chain management services, while Damco is the brand for marketing cargo transportation.
