Grupo Britt invested $7 million in the construction of its new 3,000-square-meter corporate center, located in the canton of Barva, in the province of Heredia.
Managers of the business group, which has presence in 13 countries, reported that the new building houses the service centers of the companies Café Britt and Morpho Travel Retail.
The company reported that by 2020 will close its Financial Shared Service Center in Costa Rica, as part of a corporate strategy focused on fewer centers, but larger.
"While we will close this center, Amway remains committed to the Costa Rican market and will continue to provide support to our businessmen and customers, our commercial operations in Costa Rica will continue normally," states a company statement.
The private transport company has announced it will invest $3.5 million in the opening of a service center and support for the operation of the company in Latin America.

Procter & Gamble (P & G), the world's largest mass consumer products company, has opened in Costa Rica its Regional Planning Centre for the Latin American Supply Chain. This new Centre will be responsible for leading the planning process for each plant and supplying markets in the region. In this way, Costa Rica has become the headquarters for Latin American experts in managing the supply chain for P & G. This expansion represents an additional investment of approximately $5 million.
Bridgestone's accounting operations in at least seven countries in Latin America will be managed from Costa Rica in its new Shared Services Center in San Jose.

IBM is opening a new center of information technology in Costa Rica as the first stage of a $300 million investment over 10 years.

With over 35 thousand square feet, modern facilities at Park Ultra II, will allow the company to add 500 people to its payroll, amounting to 1600 employees in the country and thereby becoming one of the top ten employers in the services area, according to data from CINDE.
In the next four months, six multinational companies will open operations in the country.
