The Salvadoran Investment Corporation (Corsain) is putting out to tender structural repair works for the dry dock of Port Corsain.
STRUCTURAL REPAIR OF THE DRY DOCK AT PORT CORSAIN
The purpose of this tender is to hire an individual or corporation, and / or consortium of bidders, national and / or foreign, to carry out repair work on the structure of the dock, which has suffered damage caused by the influence of environment and various elements of it having reached the end of the term of the useful life, such as rods, rails, beams and other elements necessary for the normal functioning of the dry dock.
The foreseen work includes changing the carpets, installing new lighting and repairing the roof of the convention center.

The Council of Ministers has approved a Plan for the Expansion and Modernization of Puerto Cortes, with which its Controlling Commission hopes to recover the country's competitiveness in regards to port activities.
The draft executive order that contains the conditions necessary to promote the development of this national port was presented by President of the Commission for the Promotion of Public-Private Partnerships (COALIAZA), Wilfredo Cerrato, an organization that is cooperating with the process of rebuilding the infrastructure of this vital Honduran port.
