"The modules must have the characteristics of a temporary structure (100% dismountable and technically verifiable) allowing its complete assembly and disassembly. The components of the module (foundation/fixation bases, platform, vertical enclosures and roof) will form a single monolithic unit, with seismic-resistant characteristics, resistance to humidity and winds, will provide thermal comfort and will meet or exceed the requirements of the school quality standards approved by the Ministry.

Plans are underway to build a water treatment plant in the Ancón district of the province of Panama that will include a raw water adduction line and potable water pipeline.
According to the interactive platform "Construction in Central America" complied by CentralAmericaData, the National Aqueduct and Sewer Institute of Panama (Instituto de Acueducto y Alcantarillados Nacionales) submitted an Environmental Impact Study (EIA) to build, in Ancon, a water purification plant that will include an intake point or catchment of raw water from the Chagres River, raw water adduction line to the water treatment plant, and potable water pipeline to Panama City. It will be developed within an easement of up to 20 meters, and an approximate length of 28.5 km.

When public resources are very limited, as it happens in Central American countries, association schemes between the State and the private sector become essential for developing the infrastructure that the region so badly needs.
A report from the Secretariat of Economic Integration (Sieca) states that "...In Central America, growing fiscal constraints faced by the countries public sectors make it increasingly difficult to achieve efforts for long-term infrastructure projects. In this context, Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) become relevant as an alternative measure of financing where private participation sector is facilitated in partnership with the government, with the aim of improving quality of services, reducing operating costs and capital, generating additional income, improving public management and minimizing budget spending.
