Washington, D.C.—The Millennium Challenge Corporation signed a $277 million compact with the Government of El Salvador, the second-largest investment in Central America by the U.S.
For the last two years the National Hospital in La Union, El Salvador, has been without the necessary equipment needed to perform ultrasounds.
Given the lack of response from the Ministry of Health, the authorities of the National Hospital of La Union are requesting financial support from the private sector in order to get the ultrasound equipment necessary for providing care in consultations.
