Taco Bell, located on 6th Avenue in zone 9 of Guatemala City, has a potential market of 315,000 consumers 15 minutes away by car. Of this group of people, 26% are interested in fast food and 15% in Mexican food.
Using the Geomarketing solutions we have developed for our clients, CentralAmericaData's Trade Intelligence team analyzed the environment of some of the main locations of fast food restaurants operating in Central American countries. Below is an extract of the study's findings.

The Montblanc Shopping Center, in the Guatemalan city of Quetzaltenango, is a sales point that, at a distance of 15 minutes walking, holds a captive market of 35 thousand people who together spend $11 million, and of them, 11% show interest in Mexican food.

Data from the company Uber Eats, dedicated to home delivery of prepared meals in the country, specify that the "Poke Bowl", containers with marinated raw fish, on a basis of rice or quinoa, along with fresh ingredients such as seaweed, cucumber or avocado, is another of the most purchased dishes by consumers who use the platform.
13% of consumers are interested in Japanese cuisine, and about 74% of them are between 15 and 30 years old, and have a high level of purchasing power.

The Mexican food franchise inaugurated its first restaurant in the country, out of the 20 it plans for the next 8 years.
Taco Maker's new restaurant is located in Albrook Mall, in the Ancón district. It joins international franchise The Taco Maker Inc. (TTM), alonside 185 restaurants in United States, Latin America and the Far East. The company's short term expansion plans include Costa Rica and other Latin American and European destinations.
