From 26 to 30 August, representatives of the port industry of Central America and the Dominican Republic will meet in Antigua Guatemala to discuss innovation, trends and facilitation of international trade.

Guatemala has become the venue for one of the most important port events in Central America: the 41st Port Meeting of the Central American Isthmus, better known by its acronym REPICA.
On February 14th and 15th, representatives of banks, international financial institutions and risk rating agencies will meet in Panama City to discuss issues related to the sector.
The event called "International Banking Congress for Regulators & Bankers," will be organized by the Superintendence of Banks of Panama (SBP) and seeks to address issues such as Basel III, prevention of money laundering, de-risking, new risks facing the industry, financial innovation-Fintech, cybersecurity, among others.
On May 25 and 26, a meeting of tourism companies from Central America will take place in Panama City, in which buyers from all over the world will take part.
The International Tourism Expo 2018 will be held at the ATLAPA Convention Center, in Panama City.
The meeting, organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama, will involve more than 160 international issuing wholesalers from Europe, North America and Latin America, with the aim of seeking service providers and tourism products.
In an industry fair to be held in May in Guatemala, organizers expect to generate around $700 million in trade deals.
The Apparel Sourcing Show will be held in Guatemala on the days from the 15th to the 17th of next month. This costume and textiles fair will be backed by buyers and suppliers from Brazil, Spain, Turkey, the USA and China.
In 2019 the country will be the host of a meeting of the Regional Commission of the World Tourism Organization for the Americas.

Paraguay, April 13, 2018.Today Guatemala was selected as the venue for the 64th meeting of the Regional Commission of the World Tourism Organization for the Americas (CAM), in the framework of the 63rd meeting of the regional commission, in which they will also be holding the International Seminar on the empowerment of women in Asunción, Paraguay.

The event is being run by the Organizing Committee of Manufexport 2018, which is inviting small and medium-sized Guatemalan companies to be part of the SME pavilion, to participate in the international retail fair.
On August 16 and 17, 2018 companies in the international mining industry will be gathering together in Managua, to take part in business conferences and discuss issues related to the sector.
The event is being organized by the Mining Chamber of Nicaragua and is expected to involve mining companies from all of the countries in Central America, and Canada, the United States, Colombia, Australia, England and Argentina.
From April 23 to 25 an Ibero-American meeting of chambers of commerce, industry and services will be held in the capital of Nicaragua.
The meeting is being organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Services of Nicaragua and the American Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Services (AICO), and will bring together business representatives from Latin America and Spain.
In August representatives of the tourism sector in the Caribbean will gather together in Managua to discuss issues related to the promotion of sustainable tourism.

The Central Rail Summit 2015 will be held in El Salvador, from May 13th to 15th, where it is expected that 15 corporations from the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association will be involved.
