In October, the consumer price index registered a monthly variation of 0.29%, and almost 4% in year-on-year terms.

The monthly variation of the Consumer Price Index in October 2017 was 0.29%, mainly explained by an increase in the prices of: some foods of agricultural origin (red beans, corn and onions), rental services, housing maintenance and fuels in the domestic market. This caused inter-annual inflation to be 3.97% (2.82% in October 2016) and accumulated inflation 3.55% (2.90% in the same month in the previous year).
In September, the CPI in year-on-year terms varied by 3.66% and in the nine months of this year so far accumulated inflation is 3.24%.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) remained the same as in the previous month. In August, the monthly variation was 0.33%, mainly explained by the behavior of fuel prices and rent for housing.

In April the consumer price index registered a variation of 0.37% with respect to March, and a cumulative variation so far in the year of 2.03%.

In February, the consumer price index registered an increase of 0.87% compared to January and accumulated inflation of 1.32% so far this year.
In February this year, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) registered a monthly increase of 0.87%; mainly associated with an increase in tuition prices in different levels of private education, red beans, soft drinks, household fuels (kerosene and LPG gas) and student transportation.
In January the consumer price index recorded an increase of just 0.44% compared to December, keeping annual inflation at 3.44%.
In the first month of 2017 the Consumer Price Index (CPI), showed a monthly variation of 0.44%, behaviour that was associated with price increases in fuel in the local market, clothing and footwear for adults and children, rental housing, as well as tariffs for private water supply.
In December, the CPI registered a variation of 0.27%, as determined by increased prices of electricity, clothing and food consumed in restaurants.

In November, the consumer price index registered a variation of 0.14% and inflation accumulated so far this year is 3.04%.
The Central Bank of Honduras reported that in November the monthly variation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) was 0.14%, an increase associated with the price increase in fuel and clothing. This means that annual inflation stands at 3.04%, higher than the amount observed in the same month of the previous year (2.10%); similarly, accumulated inflation was 3.04%.
In October, the consumer price index showed no variation, with cumulative inflation so far this year being maintained at 2.90%.
