The company founded on Costa Rican capital, Jack's Foods, has announced that within five years it will transfer 50% of its production activities to Nicaragua, El Salvador and the United States.

Alimentos Jack's, a company founded on 100% Costa Rican capital, has decided to continue its expansion outside of Costa Rica and is planning to transfer 50% of its operations within five years, to the United States, El Salvador and Nicaragua.
On March 11th to 14th 2015 the thirty-third edition of the international trade fair, Expocomer, will be held in the Atlapa Convention Center.

In 2006 one hectare of sugar cane in Nicaragua produced 66 tons, and five years later, in 2011, it produced 89 tons. In recent years, Puerto Cortes has seen residential growth of 30%, in particular in the area near Omoa. Meanwhile, the industrial sector recorded a growth of 20%, especially in the last two years thanks to increased economic activity.
Omar Flores, head of the Mayor’s Urban Planning Unit said "it is expected that there will be more residential and industrial growth in the area towards San Pedro Sula driven by the activity generated by the implementation of the dry canal or logistics corridor", reported Laprensa.hn.
