"The project consists of a length of 44.62 kilometers, however, the Bidding Entity may determine works that within the execution of the work in the field are detected as required, which have not been defined in the terms of reference and plans, to procure connectivity and integrality of road networks and/or for accessibility to basic services.
The construction of the road work of the south access to the sector La Cienaga de Nuevo Domingo Savio, as the main entrance to the Paseo del Río road, is being tendered.
Dominican Republic Government purchase CRBE-CCC-LPN-2020-0003:
"The construction project integrates a road distributor for the access to Paseo del Río Avenue, located at the intersection of Francisco del Rosario Sánchez Avenue and La Marina Back Street, which establishes the entrance to the La Cienaga sector.
In Panama, the consortium made up of Constructora Urbana S.A. and Toronto Global Holdings Corp. was awarded the contract to design, build and finance the interconnection of the Cinta Costera 3 with the Calzada de Amador.
Two bids were submitted for this tender; whose initial reference value was $49.9 million. The first proposal, which amounted to $54.8 million, was made by the consortium AMADOR, formed by the companies Meco, S.A.
The Ministry of Public Works tenders the rehabilitation works of the road section El Ejido - La Espigadilla - Tres Quebradas - Agua Buena, which is located in the province of Los Santos.

"The project consists of the rehabilitation of 13,066 kilometers, which are divided into 10.91 KM on the road El Ejido-La Espigadilla-Tres Quebradas -Agua Buena, 1.51 KM on Coto Street, 0.43 KM on Lateral Street to the Guadalupe Church and 0.211 KM on the road to the Cemetery.
More than two years after an initiative was presented in Guatemala to create an autonomous entity made up of the government and private investors, which would be in charge of planning and executing road works, the proposal has not yet received the endorsement of the Legislative and the road network is still in poor condition.
During the National Meeting of Entrepreneurs (Enade) 2017 the proposal to create the Superintendence of Road Infrastructure (Sivial) arose, an institution that would be an autonomous entity with the function of planning, tendering and contracting infrastructure works.
After the Ministry of Health approved the reactivation of these works, which had been halted since March of this year due to the covid-19 outbreak, 27 road infrastructure projects were restarted nationwide on August 17.
These are five projects located in Panama, four in West Panama, another four in Chiriqui, two in Bocas del Toro, eight in Cocle and one each in the provinces of Los Santos, Herrera, Veraguas and the Ngäbe Bugle region.

"The purpose of this tender is to hire a legal entity with technical, financial and legal capacity to carry out rehabilitation work, periodic maintenance and routine maintenance on National Route No.
The expansion of the Highway to the Port of Vacamonte and the construction of the connection of the Cinta Costera 3 to Amador, are two projects that are expected to be tendered in Panama during August 2020.
In order to revive the construction industry, the Minister of Public Works, Rafael Sabonge, reported that next month will be tendered two infrastructure projects whose investment is around $100 million.
As a result of the health and economic crisis affecting the country, the government decided to cut the budget assigned to municipalities by $71 million to finance maintenance work on the cantonal road network.

The Costa Rican government assures that the road infrastructure projects are being executed according to the established schedule and that the announced plans for the next few months remain in place.
Directors of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MOPT), reported that in the context of the health crisis and with the aim of reviving the economy, it is essential that the planned road works are carried out.
Due to the health alert facing Costa Rica, the China Harbor Engineering Company decided to lay off 180 employees working on the Route 32 expansion project, which has already fallen behind on previous occasions.

"The project consists of the rehabilitation of the (agricultural) production roads in the Provinces of Cocle, Herrera, Los Santos, Panama Oeste, Colon, Bocas del Toro and Veraguas, consisting of approximately 266.53 kilometers. The roads are rehabilitated with a sub-base area.
Hernan Solis SRL and Ingenieria Estrella S.A. won the contract to widen 50 kilometres of the road from Barranca to Limonal, and 3 kilometres from La Angostura, between El Roble and Barrio El Carmen, in the province of Puntarenas.
The works on the Interamericana Norte will last 30 months, from the start order, while the extension of La Angostura should be ready in a 12 months’ period, informed the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MOPT).
