On November 16th, the resolution of the contracting process for the works of rehabilitation of streets in several townships of the capital of the country was published in the portal PanamaCompra.
Centralmix was awarded the contract to rehabilitate streets in the townships of Bethania, Curundu, Don Bosco, Juan Díaz, Parque Lefevre, Pueblo Nuevo and Río Abajo, in the province of Panama.
On October 18th, the resolution of the contracting process for the works of the rehabilitation of streets of several townships of the province of Panama was published.
Constructora Meco and Consorcio Macasa presented their proposals in the tender for the rehabilitation of streets in different townships in La Chorrera, Panama.
On October 19th, the Ministry of Public Works received two proposals to carry out road works with a reference value of $25,059,666. One of the offers was presented by Constructora Meco S.A., for a total of $28,816,906.

In Panama, a contract has been awarded to Constructora MECO for the design and construction of 80 kilometers of streets and roads in the district of David, province of Chiriqui.
The companies that took part in the tender for the renovation of road sections were Constructora MECO, Sacyr Construction, China Railway International Group, Bagatrac S.A., Ininco, S.A., Conalvias Construcciones S.A.S., Constructora Urbana and Construcciones Civiles y Concretos de Panamá S.A., with offers of $48 million, $49 million, $24 million, $25 million, $54 million, $53 million and $26 million respectively.
In Guatemala, Empresa Portuaria Quetzal is putting out to tender maintenance of streets and avenues, inside and outside the port area.

MECO, Constructora Urbana and Bagatrac are three of the companies that submitted their proposals in the tender to build 80 kilometers of roads in Chiriqui, Panama.
Also taking part in the tender with a reference value of $49 million, are the consortiums Caminos de David (ININCO S.A. and Construcciones Civiles and Concretos de Panamá S.A.), Vias y Puentes del Istmo (Empresa Constructora CUMO and China Railway International Group Panama) and Calles de David (CENTRAL MIX S.A. and Conalvías Construcciones S.A.S. Panama branch).
In Costa Rica companies are being called on to participate in the tender for the renovation and cleaning of roads that were affected by tropical storm Nate.
The National Emergency Commission needs more construction companies to register and participate in the contracting processes to carry out the recovery works on roads and highways affected by the storm.
Constructora Rodsa, Concreto Asfáltico Nacional, Ingeniería Estrella, Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group, Bagatrac, MECO and Coco Consortium - La Pintada presented their offers between $37 million and $40 million to renovate 61 kilometers of roads in Coclé, Panama.

The Public Works Ministry (MOP) today held a best value public tender for a design and construction project to renovate roads in La Pintada, province of Coclé which will benefit more than 25 thousand inhabitants of this district.
In Panama a contract has been endorsed with the construction company MECO to renovate a stretch of ten kilometers of the Transístmica highway to integrate the public transport system with the Metro.
The tender documents indicate that the project consists of a length of approximately 10 kilometers, whose studies and designs start at the intersection with Ave.
The construction company Architrac was the only company to present a proposal in the tender to renovate the vehicular bridge in Guatemala.
The act of receiving offers was originally scheduled for May 18, but was postponed to May 31 after no proposals were received. Now only the company Architrac participated in the tenderto renovate the bridge, with an offer for $4.6 million (36 million quetzales).
