The Ministry of Communications of Guatemala tenders the construction of a section of the beltway of the departmental capital of Chimaltenango.

The construction will conform to the existing sub-floor and the following pavement structure: stabilized sub-base (e=0.20m) with Portland cement, crushed base course (e=0.25m), black base course (e=0.10m), and a hot asphalt concrete surface-layer (e=0.06m)."
The submission of proposals for the design and construction of a vehicular walkway and road interchange on the Cabuya roundabout in the province of Panama was postponed until November 30th.
The Ministry of Public Works decided to change from October 30th to November 30th, the deadline to receive proposals for the road work with a reference value of $66.0570.156.
Constructora Meco and Consorcio Macasa presented their proposals in the tender for the rehabilitation of streets in different townships in La Chorrera, Panama.
On October 19th, the Ministry of Public Works received two proposals to carry out road works with a reference value of $25,059,666. One of the offers was presented by Constructora Meco S.A., for a total of $28,816,906.
The General Comptroller of Costa Rica partially approved the $20.7 million trust fund for the San José-San Ramón road corridor.
In a document published on the General Comptroller website on October 10th of this year, it was reported that the approval is given to the trust fund for this road work that consists of the modernization of a 60 kilometer stretch of road between San Jose and San Ramon.

In Guatemala, confirmation has been given of the award of a contract to renovate and manage the Escuintla-Puerto Quetzal highway with tolls, to the Consortium Autopistas de Guatemala.
In a meeting held on August 6, the National Council of Partnerships for the Development of Economic Infrastructure (Conadie), unanimously decided to approve the actions of the Evaluation Commission that decided to award the Consortium Autopistas de Guatemala the contract for the renovation and administration of the road section.

The Ministry of Public Works in Costa Rica has given its approval to the designs for two overpasses on the Florencio del Castillo highway, one in Taras and another in La Lima, in Cartago.
The Ministry of Public Works reported that "...The project not only includes these overpasses in the points indicated, but an integral intervention of the highway between these two locations, with important improvements related to the road surface and construction offacilities such as accesses and exits to the marginal routes, turns, as well as sidewalks, bays for buses and even bicycle lanes in different points."
