The expansion of the Highway to the Port of Vacamonte and the construction of the connection of the Cinta Costera 3 to Amador, are two projects that are expected to be tendered in Panama during August 2020.
In order to revive the construction industry, the Minister of Public Works, Rafael Sabonge, reported that next month will be tendered two infrastructure projects whose investment is around $100 million.
The Ministry of Public Works plans to tender in February improvement works on a 9-kilometer section of the road to the Fort of San Lorenzo, in Chagres, province of Colon.

The Ministry of Public Works (MOP) will be calling for bids for the "Renovation of the road to the Fort of San Lorenzo, Chagres district, in the province of Colon", this relates to about 8.6 kilometers that will be serviced, with support from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
A tender is being launched for a feasibility study to expand a 22-kilometer section of the El Litoral highway between the Zacatecoluca and Tecoluca municipalities to four lanes.
The Ministry of Public Works plans to extend the stretch from Zacatecoluca, La Paz, to San Marcos Lempa, San Vicente, to two lanes in each direction.
The Ministry of Public Works in Panama plans to put out to tender the renovation of 64 kilometers of the San Andrés - Santa Cruz - Dominical - Caisán - Montelirio highway and the bypass road.
The Ministry of Public Works has announced that it is preparing a best value tender for the renovation project for the San Andrés - Santa Cruz - Dominical - Caisán - Montelirio and bypass highway, which is 63.6 kilometers long, with a reference price of $33.5 million.

This year the government plans to allocate $110 million to tenders for works on renovations, cleaning and improvement of roads in different parts of the country.

It has been announced that next week a tender will be published for the construction of two new lanes on the stretch of road between San Carlos and La Chorrera, west of the Panamanian capital.
The announcement was made by Panamanian President Juan Carlos Varela, and will serve to improve capacity on a route that has a length of about 70 kilometers.
The Ministry of Public Works is planning to tender in November the study, design and construction of a road from Potrerillo Arriba to Palmira Abajo, in Chiriqui.

The Ministry of Public Works plans to tender the construction of an overpass on the road known as "rotondas" in October, in order for work to start in January 2017.
