On October 15 and 16, Costa Rica will host an international congress for companies in the life sciences sector.

May 17, 2018.On October 15 and 16, Costa Rica will be the meeting point for high-level exhibitors in the life sciences industry, decision makers of the world's leading companies in the sector, key suppliers, consulting firms, among others, in the fourth edition of the Life Sciences Forum Costa Rica 2018, organized by the Costa Rican Coalition of Development Initiatives (CINDE).
From March 15 to 16 more than 400 local and international companies in the service sector will be holding business meetings during the OUTSOURCE2LAC business forum in San Jose, Costa Rica.

San Jose, March 3, 2017.The largest gathering of service companies based on knowledge of Latin America will be meeting in San Jose, Costa Rica, on March 15 and 16.OUTSOURCE2LAC is a business conference organized by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Foreign Trade Promotion Office of Costa Rica (PROCOMER), which aims to share best practices and experiences of the sector and to promote the creation of opportunities for business and investment for SMEs in Latin America and the Caribbean.
From October 9 to 10 representatives of medical device manufacturers will be taking part in an international forum in San Jose.

San Jose, 14 September 2016.Costa Rica will be hosting the third edition of the biggest Latin American forum in the field of Life Sciences, which is the Life Sciences Forum Costa Rica 2016, organized by the Costa Rican Coalition for Development Initiatives (CINDE), the agency in charge of attracting foreign investment to the country.
Local and international companies will be meeting on August 23 to explore business and investment opportunities in the Caribbean.
The event"Invest in Limon 2016"will be held at the Costa Rica Marriott hotel in Belen, Heredia, from 8 am. Taking part in the event will be entrepreneurs, developers and local and international investors who are interested investing in the province of Limón.
On July 19 shipping companies, logistics and other sectors related to the port industry will be meeting in Panama to discuss issues and opportunities arising from the expanded canal.
The event, organized by the Maritime Authority of Panama, will be held at the Hotel Intercontinental Miramar, from 1 pm.
Anpanama.com reports that "....Among the topics to be discussed are: prospects for Panama's logistics sector after enlargement, adaptation and efficient management of Panamanian ports and the role of private enterprise in the new scenario, among other things."
The third edition of the UN Workshop on Space Technology will be held in San Jose, from 7th to 11th of March 2016.
Taking part in the event are professionals from space agencies, astronauts and representatives of academia and research, and companies linked to the global aerospace sector.
The event, called Human Space Initiative (HSTi) which is being led by the United Nations, will be held at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Sabana Norte, San Jose.
From November 9th to 13th companies in the sector will be meeting in Panama City to discuss issues related to sustainable use of marine resources and innovation in fishing methods.
The Fisheries Institute of the Gulf and the Caribbean reports that "... the focus of the event which will be "Two oceans, same coastal issues," reflects the interest of the membership of the GCFI, to include their peers from the Eastern Tropical Pacific (Costa American Pacific from southern Baja California in Mexico to northern Peru) at the annual meetings, with the intention of optimizing experiences and sharing lessons learned from facing similar problems, challenges and opportunities on both coasts of the Americas.
From 16 to 18 of November businessmen and government representatives from Latin America will be gathering together at the IX Forum of the Americas on Competitiveness.

Guatemala, September 22, 2015.- The public and private sectors of the Latin American region will be meeting in Guatemala from 16 to 18 November at the IX Forum of the Americas on Competitiveness, the most important business exchange space which will have more than 1000 attendees.
On 6 and 7 October industry representatives worldwide will gather together in Panama City to discuss issues such as the impact of the expanded canal on bunker operations.
Representatives from the Maritime Chamber of Panama, the event organizer, said to Prensa.com that "... The aim this year is to unite the bunkering sector agencies, shipping companies and their service providers, and present the problems of the sector to the various authorities in the country ".
From November 13th to 15th industry representatives will gather together in San Jose to discuss issues such as the impact of climate change on coffee and the situation in Brazil, among other things.

Entrepreneurs from Chile and Central America will be gathering together in San Jose from November 5th to 7th to explore business opportunities in the wood sector.
The event entitled 'Business Meeting on Forestry and Timber in Central American and the Caribbean' is being organized by the Trade Commission of Chile in Costa Rica (ProChile) and is expected to draw more than 20 entrepreneurs and exporters with the aim of striking deals with Central American countries.
On November 5th and 6th industry experts will gather together in San Jose, Costa Rica, to discuss issues such as the impact of the deterioration of infrastructure on the economy of Central America.
The event which is being organized by the Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development (LACCSD) will focus on analysis on the status of ports, airports, roads and border crossings and their impact on the economy of the region.
On November 4th, Guatemala City will host a regional summit on energy investments in Central America.

The minister Erick Archila has announced that Guatemala will host a summit on energy investment in the countries of the Mesoamerican region which will take place on November 4, convened by the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MEM).
Lectures will be provided as part of the event to be held in Panama City on October 23rd and 24th, addressing the progress and challenges of the sector in the region, competitiveness and development of logistics parks.
