In Costa Rica, in the tenth month of the year, the price indexes for buildings and social housing registered year on year variations of 1.62% and 1.07%, respectively.

The price indexes for construction base February 2012 are a set of twenty statistical indicators, which measure the variation in the prices of materials used in the construction of different types of works.
After falling from 4.4% to 1.8% between July and September 2019, during October the price growth rate was 2.2%.
Out of the twelve spending divisions that make up the Consumer Price Index (CPI), food (1.62%), transportation (0.79%), recreation (0.45%), reflect the rise in the general price level of inflation to October 2019, reported the National Statistics Institute.
During October 2019, the CPI registered a 4.1% variation with respect to the same month in 2018, an inflation rate that is lower than the 4.4% reported in September.
In October 2019, monthly inflation -measured through the variation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI)- was 0.24%, lower than the registered in October 2018 (0.56%). The monthly result is mainly the result of the increase in the price of some food products and fuel, informed the Central Bank of Honduras.
The inflationary rhythm slowed for the third consecutive month, as in October the CPI reported a 2.07% year-on-year variation, below the 2.53% reported in September.
The groups with the greatest contribution to the variation of the CPI in October are: Transport, and Food and non-alcoholic beverages. Of the 315 goods and services that make up the consumption basket, 49% increase in price, 40% decreased in price and 11% showed no variation, informed the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses.
In the tenth month of the year, the FAO food price index rose 6% from October 2018, explained by rising prices of sugar, meat, dairy products and vegetable oils.

In the first nine months of the year in Guatemala, the price of 3/8" diameter iron rod, corrugated and legitimate, fell 8%, and the price of structural galvanized steel sheet, stamped, 26 gauge, fell 5%.
The Index of Prices of Construction Materials -IPMC-, elaborated by the National Institute of Statistics (INE), measures the variations of the prices of the eighty-nine (89) materials and services that integrate the representative basket of inputs that are used in the construction activity, using as base month December 2018=100.
In the ninth month of the year, the polarized box outlet unit in Panama grew 12% from September 2018, and the stranded No. 12 power cable foot decreased 6%.

The average from January to September 2019, compared to the same period of 2018, showed increases in the Indexes of the unit of the current collector for polarized box in 11.6%, of the foot of the Carriola N°4 and of the Zinc N°26 corrugated galvanized, both in 3.1%.
In September, the Consumer Price Index increased 2% year-on-year, up from 1.7% in August 2019.
The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic (BCRD) reported that the consumer price index (CPI) registered a 0.38 % variation in September 2019 with respect to August, so that accumulated inflation in the January-September period stood at 2.38%.

In September 2019, monthly inflation -measured through the variation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI)- was 0.15%. The Central Bank of Honduras reported that the above is explained by the increase in the prices of rental housing and some services for its maintenance, medicines and health services, counteracted by the reduction in the prices of fuels and some food products.
For the third consecutive month, the inflationary rate in Guatemala decelerated, since the year-on-year variations reported by the Consumer Price Index during July, August and September, were of 4.4%, 3% and 1.8%, respectively.
The most important inflation levels in September 2019 are as follows: monthly inflation of -0.58%, inflationary rate of 1.80% and accumulated inflation of 1.63%, according to the National Statistics Institute (INE).
In September, the Consumer Price Index reported a 2.5% year-on-year variation, down from 2.9% in August.
Of the 315 goods and services that make up the consumption basket, 50% increase in price, 39% decreased in price and 11% showed no variation, reported the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses.
The official report explains that "... During September, the goods and services showing the greatest negative effect are: gasoline, potato and tomato. On the other hand, automobiles, canned tuna and papaya were among the main ones with the greatest positive effect.

In the eighth month of the year, the unit of the polarized box outlet in Panama grew 10% over August 2018, and the foot of stranded electric cable No. 12 increased 6%.

The average from January to August 2019, compared to the same period in 2018, showed increases in the Indexes of the current collector unit for polarized box in 12.1%, the foot of the Carriola N°4 in 4.2% and the foot of Zinc N°26 galvanized corrugated in 3.7%. Likewise, there were increases in the IP of the yard of Stone No. 4 in 1.9% and the one of the yard of Sand in 1.8%.
