In April, the monthly variation was 0.26%, mainly explained by the behavior of prices of alcoholic beverages, food and transportation.

In March a monthly variation was registered of 0.33%, mainly due to the behavior of prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages.

In December, the CPI registered a variation of 0.27%, as determined by increased prices of electricity, clothing and food consumed in restaurants.

In November the consumer price index recorded a monthly variation of 0,39%, making inflation accumulated so far this year 4,22%.
The National Statistics Institute of Guatemala has reported that the Consumer Price Index for November 2016 stood at 126.82, recording a monthly variation of 0.39%, and compared to November last year, the variation was 4.67%.
The consumer price index registered no monthly change, putting annual inflation at 0.56%, and inflation accumulated so far this year remains at 0.37%.
The groups with the greatest contribution to the CPI in September 2016 were Food and non-alcoholic beverages and Transport.

In October, the consumer price index recorded a monthly variation of 0.69%, with inflation accumulated so far this year of 3.82%.
A report by the National Institute of Statistics reported that the Consumer Price Index for October 2016 stood at 126.33, representing a monthly variation of 0.69%, and compared to October last year the variation was 4 , 76%.
In October, the consumer price index showed no variation, with cumulative inflation so far this year being maintained at 2.90%.
The Central Bank of Honduras reports that in October, the Price Index (CPI) observed no change compared with the previous month, a result caused by falling food prices, especially of basic grains and some fruits, vegetables and tubers; offsetting rising fuel prices in the local market and other goods and services for personal use and the home.Annual inflation stood at 2.82%, higher than in the same month last year (2.54%), while the cumulative inflation stood at 2.90%.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) showed a monthly variation of -0.30 percent (-0.08% in September 2015), mainly explained by the behavior of prices of some goods and services in the category of Food and non-alcoholic beverages (-1.65%), with a contribution of -0.592 percentage points.In contrast, increases were seen in the indexes in the categories of Recreation and culture (1.99%) and transportation (0.67%).
