From 26 to 30 August, representatives of the port industry of Central America and the Dominican Republic will meet in Antigua Guatemala to discuss innovation, trends and facilitation of international trade.

Guatemala has become the venue for one of the most important port events in Central America: the 41st Port Meeting of the Central American Isthmus, better known by its acronym REPICA.
On February 14th and 15th, representatives of banks, international financial institutions and risk rating agencies will meet in Panama City to discuss issues related to the sector.
The event called "International Banking Congress for Regulators & Bankers," will be organized by the Superintendence of Banks of Panama (SBP) and seeks to address issues such as Basel III, prevention of money laundering, de-risking, new risks facing the industry, financial innovation-Fintech, cybersecurity, among others.
In August representatives of the tourism sector in the Caribbean will gather together in Managua to discuss issues related to the promotion of sustainable tourism.

From November 4th to 6th a conference will be held in Managua attended by users of free zones, industrial parks and representatives from customs, exporters and freight forwarders in the region.

The XIX Conference of Free Zones of the Americas will take place on 4 to 6 of November in Managua, Nicaragua.
The event is being organized by the National Commission of Free Zones of Nicaragua and ProNicaragua at the Hilton Hotel.
Representatives from the poultry sector will meet on August 5th and 6th to discuss issues such as the elimination of chicken imports from the US.
This convention will be held at the Crowne Plaza Convention Center and the participation of over a hundred poultry entrepreneurs, representatives from universities and government authorities is expected. The LX Annual Meeting of the Central American Cooperative Program for the Improvement of Crops and Animals will focus on the generation of technology innovation for sustainable agriculture.
The Central Rail Summit 2015 will be held in El Salvador, from May 13th to 15th, where it is expected that 15 corporations from the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association will be involved.
The Salvadoran Chamber of Tourism (CASATUR) hopes to have the participation of 30 union members who will be publicizing various tour packages offered by shipping lines.
A meeting of Honduran businesses has been organized for February 12 which aims to present a portfolio of private investment projects.
