From April 23rd to 25th a conference on the development and prospects of the logistics sector in the country will be held in Panama City.
The 49th edition of the Annual Conference of Executives (Cade) 2015 will be held at the Sheraton Panama Hotel and will address issues such as international logistics, competitiveness of the Panamanian port system and the problems of air, sea, road and rail logistics in Panama.
From August 28th to September 2nd, 500 airport executives will be gathering together in Panama City in the world assembly of the International Airports Council.
During the convention the main challenges of the sector will be assessed from the perspective of the constants regulations they face. Also to be discussed is the global trend towards privatization of the airport terminals.
From 25 to March 27 companies and industry experts will be meeting in Panama to discuss issues such as financing, government policies and technology.
The conference called Central America Solar Power Generation (SPG Central America) will be held at the Intercontinental Playa Bonita Resort & Spa. It will include the participation of 20 local generating companies, utilities companies, distributors and government representatives from the countries of the region are expected.
From 6 to 7 May companies and investors in the sector will be in in San José taking part in business meetings and conferences relevant to franchises in the region.
The second edition of the American Franchise Summit will be held at the Hotel Park Inn, Costa Rica and will involve seven international speakers. The event will last two days and is aimed at 150 franchisees and franchisors investors with the aim of promoting business appointments.
The event which will be held from February 22nd to 24th in San José will focus on the practice of international arbitration in resolving contractual problems in construction projects.

Among the topics to be discussed during this conference are arbitration in Latin America and its current status, recognition and enforcement of foreign awards in Latin America, the rules of the ICC Dispute Board: the case of the Channel Tunnel, the characteristics of disputes in the construction industry, the future of the Committees of Disputes in Latin America, the resolution of disputes in FIDIC construction contracts, among other things.
From May 20 to 22nd an international conference will be held in Panama on agricultural production in controlled environments, which will cover topics such as nutrient solutions and efficient use of water and energy.
This event will be held with the aim of establishing a public-private partnership to promote the development of foods in controlled environments.
From June 21st to 28th, 2015, Antigua will be hosting the Council of the International Sugar Organization.
During the last council held in London, the city of Antigua, Guatemala, was designated as the next site to receive the XLVII Council of the International Sugar Organization.

On November 4th, Guatemala City will host a regional summit on energy investments in Central America.

From 12 to 14 November representatives from free zones in Latin America will be gathering together in Panama City to discuss issues such as changes in legislation and the role of free zones in the logistics chain.
The topics to be discussed range from innovation and new business in free zones and industries to changes to key legislation for the creation of logistic nodes.
