From this year onwards, the Chamber of Foreign Trade of Costa Rica will be the representative in the Central American country of the Trade Promotion Agency Avante Extremadura.
The Chamber of Foreign Trade of Costa Rica and Representatives of Foreign Houses (CRECEX), announced that from this year it will function as representative in Central America of the Trade Promotion Agency Avante Extremadura.
In the past 12 months, 165 environmental impact studies, valued at $350 million, were submitted for the development of shopping centers, supermarkets, department stores and other types of commercial buildings in the region.

Spirit Airlines has opened a commercial office in Costa Rica, where it has been operating for the past ten years.
Through an agreement with a local company, the low-cost airline will have a commercial representation office to serve customers in the country.

The objective of the new trade promotion office in the Dutch city is to expand business opportunities for Costa Rican exporters.
