EXPOCOMER 2020 will take place in Panama City from March 25 to 28. Businessmen from 30 countries will participate in the event, exhibiting food products, beverages, textiles, clothing and accessories, technological and electronic equipment.
Jorge Garcia Icaza, president of the EXPOCOMER 2020 Organizing Committee, reported that the exhibition area of the fair to be held at the Atlapa Convention Center has sold out 90% to date and this year's edition is expected to attract the participation of some 30 countries from the Americas, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia, who will attend this event to take advantage of opportunities to present everything from food and textile lines to technology and home appliances, among others.
On August 27, companies from the Asian country will participate in business rounds in Tegucigalpa, and from 28 to 30 of the same month will be present at Expo Taiwan 2019, to be held in San Pedro Sula.
At least 18 Taiwanese companies are expected to participate. These companies are engaged in the manufacture and packaging of food, the production of cold roll forming machines and the manufacture of camera mirrors, among others.
From May 9 to 10 in Costa Rica Expotur 2019 will be held at the National Convention Center, which will bring together 230 international buyers from the tourism sector from 35 countries.
Erasmo Rojas, president of the Costa Rican Association of Tourism Professionals (Acoprot), explained to Nacion.com that "... The activity consists of two days of negotiations and alliances that allow revitalize the tourist offer each year and generate millions of dollars in tourist currency for accommodations, food and transportation."
From 20 to 23 May, an online business meeting will be held with South Korea for companies in the food and beverage sectors.
The Secretariat for Central American Economic Integration (SIECA) coordinates the "Virtual Business Roundtable with South Korea," which is aimed at companies in the food and beverage sector, and will be conducted through the Central American Trade Network.
From April 16 to 17, Costa Rican businessmen will participate in the "Polaris" fair, which will take place in the city of Athens, Greece, where they will have business meetings with 100 European buyers of frozen fruit.
With the aim of seeking new market niches, 50 Costa Rican producers will participate in meetings with businessmen from Europe, was reported in a statement.
Within the framework of EXPOCOMER 2019, the second National Business Roundtable is scheduled for March 28, in which companies from more than 20 countries are expected to participate.

The Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP), in strategic alliance with the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MICI) will carry out the 2nd National Business Roundtable, next March 28 in the framework of EXPOCOMER 2019, with the objective of boosting Panamanian exports in the international market.
To learn about the tourist destination and hold business negotiations with local businesses, on September 13, 10 tour operators from Beijing will be arriving in Panama.
The Tourism Authority of Panama (ATP) reported that "...this will be the first official contact with local tour operators, following authorization from the Chinese government to start commercial relations with 66 Panamanian A-type companies (tour operators) who met the requirements established after signing a Memorandum of Understanding between both nations to facilitate travel groups from China to Panama."
July 18 will see the arrival of a delegation of Asian companies interested in machinery, coffee and other sectors, who will be meeting with local business people.
Representatives from the embassy of the Asian country in Honduras reported that the delegation that will arrive this week, will have several meetings with entrepreneurs in the private sector and others interested in exploring investment opportunities.
A meeting is being organized for July 6 and 7 for businessmen and government representatives from both countries in Managua in order to explore business opportunities.
The activity is being organized by the Ministry of Development, Industry and Commerce of Nicaragua, and the Embassy of Colombia.The objective of the event is to bring together businessmen from both countries to analyze investment opportunities, and develop alliances to improve the promotion of foreign trade and trade exchanges.
Companies from the region are being called on to participate in an international business roundtable to be held in Costa Rica from September 19 to 22, 2017.
The event is being organized by Procomer and will take place at the Pedregal Convention Center in Heredia. The event is expected to involve more than 300 international buyers who will have business appointments with more than 500 exporting companies in Costa Rica.

The event will include business meetings between participating companies, who will also exhibit their products.
On September 25th and 26th Nicaraguan exporters from various sectors will be taking part in an exhibition in Managua showcasing their goods and holding face to face and virtual business meetings.
