From March 1 to 5, 2021, the Colon Free Zone will hold its first multisector virtual trade fair, in which 200 exhibitors will participate and participants will be able to access product catalogs and receive direct attention from suppliers.
The trade fair will feature a wide variety of mass consumption products, regional distribution logistics services and value-added products, informed the Colon Free Zone (CFZ).
From 20 to 23 May, an online business meeting will be held with South Korea for companies in the food and beverage sectors.
The Secretariat for Central American Economic Integration (SIECA) coordinates the "Virtual Business Roundtable with South Korea," which is aimed at companies in the food and beverage sector, and will be conducted through the Central American Trade Network.
From August 23 to 25, Central American companies from the food and beverage, tourism and services sectors will be taking part in an international business conference in David, Chiriquí province.
The Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Chiriquí, organizer of the event, expects the participation of 500 representatives from national and international companies from Guatemala, Colombia, Ecuador and Costa Rica.
On November 12 Korean companies interested in the plastic sectors, renewable energy, construction and general industry will be meeting with Guatemalan businessmen.
The business conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Guatemala City and which include the participation of the companies Dongshin Hydraulics, Dae Jin Engineering, Dass Tech Industrial Greensolution and Soolim, among others.
On May 25th and 26th Central American and Japanese businessmen will be gathering together in Guatemala City to discuss business opportunities.

During the AGRITRADE event held in Guatemala there were 1,700 business meetings between international buyers and Central American exporters, with deals $62 million.

Between October 28th and 30th, Guatemala City will host a meeting between businessmen from various productive sectors in Spain and representatives from Central American companies.
This multilateral meeting aims to find business opportunities in the energy industry, transport, water and real estate development, among others.
Exporters from the sectors related to food, crafts, plastics, cosmetics and others will be taking a business trip to Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic from 17 to 22 November.

The Guatemalan Exporters Association is preparing a trade mission for entrepreneurs on May 5th-9th 2014.

From April 7th to 11th, Guatemalan businessmen will be able to participate in a multi-sector trade mission to Miami, Florida.

With support from the Program of Trade, Investment and Tourism (PACIT), and the Economic Development Agency of Miami, from 7 to 11 April 2014 12 Guatemalan companies may participate in a multi-sector trade mission which will be taking place in Miami, Florida, USA, with support from the Department of Promotion and Trade Information AGEXPORT.
The event will be held on the 7th and 8th of November and will feature 20 minute appointments between sellers and buyers.
The activity will take place at the Hotel Intercontinental in Guatemala and is intended to facilitate contacts between national and international participants, promote brands and open new markets.
Another objective of the macro conference is to provide an opportunity to analyze new business niches and boost exports to Central America and Mexico. Among the categories involved are: the agricultural sector (Vegetables, Fruits and differentiated products) and manufacturing (Food and Drink, Plastics, Cosmetics and other goods).
From 13th to 16th of August, Peruvian entrepreneurs from the food, manufacturing, services and clothing industries will be promoting ExpoPerú Central America 2013 in Panama and Costa Rica.
In attendance along with businessmen will be a delegation of union presidents, congressmen and officials from the South American country.

On 26th and 27th of November 500 Chinese businessmen will take part in business meetings with 300 representatives from Latin American companies seeking to generate new business.
According to Anabel Gonzalez, Minister of Foreign Trade, they expect the involvement of 300 employers in the region and they have been organizing business meetings for the summit in the form of plenary sessions, parallel meetings and roundtable discussions at high-level .
