Avianca has announced that as of November 16 this year, five frequencies per week will start operating between El Salvador and the city of Germany.
The new route will operate with a frequency of five times per week, starting on November 16 of this year. From El Salvador to Munich, flights will be available on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. From Munich to El Salvador the will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Aero Expo Panama Pacifico will take place at Panama Pacifico Airport from March 21 to 22, 2018, and will bring together aeronautical companies from all over Latin America.
Aero Expo Panama will feature a static presentation of various executive aircraft and expert speakers on the subject who will give seminars on topics of great importance to executives in aviation companies, such as management of the costs of aircraft operations.
The Bogota-based airline has announced that it will continue to negotiate a strategic and commercial alliance with United Airlines and expects to finalize an agreement to be announced at the end of the year.

The Honduran Tourism Institute has announced that the airline Air Europa will continue operating the flight between Honduras and Spain until April 2018.
Authorities from the Honduran Institute of Tourism (IHT) confirmed the airline's decision to continue providing the air service.
Sue Chávez, marketing manager for IHT, told Elheraldo.hn: " ...´We have been operating the service for six months with very good results, the average occupancy rate is above 80%.'"
An announced has been made of a definitive deprogramming of the weekly flight that operated between Buenos Aires and Caracas, citing operational reasons.
Already in August the airline operating under the Argentine flag had announced the suspension of the tickets sales for this flight.Now the company has announced the deprogramming of its weekly flight in definitive form.
The strike organized by the colombian operations´pilots has forced the airline to suspend the sale of tickets for flights between Bogota and Guatemala City until October 5.
Prensalibre.com reports that "...For the rest of the destinations operating from Guatemala, passengers will be able to purchase tickets without any problems, as these flights are not affected by the strike reported Avianca's North American, Central American & Caribbean Regional Communications department."
Due to operational and security limitations, the airline has decided to bring forward the suspension of its flights from Lima and Bogotá to Caracas from July 27, instead of August 16 as originally planned.

Bogotá, July 27, 2017.Due to operational limitations registered in the last few hours, Avianca is obliged to suspend its operations to Venezuela from today, and NOT from August 16 as scheduled.This includes closing ticket saleson the routes connecting Caracas with Bogotá and Lima.
As of August 16, the Bogota-Caracas-Bogotá and Lima-Caracas-Lima flight routes will cease to operate due to the difficulties experienced in air operations in the South American country.

Bogotá, July 26, 2017.Following a technical meeting held today in Bogotá with the Aeronautical Authorities, Avianca notified the directors of the National Civil Aeronautics Institute of Venezuela and AEROCIVIL of Colombia, of a decision to suspend flights to and from the neighboring country.
Avianca has announced that from June it will be offering a direct flight four times a week between San Jose and Mexico City, and a daily direct flight to San Pedro Sula.
The airline also announced that it will add a third daily flight between Costa Rica and Guatemala, starting from the same date.
The new flight from San Jose to San Pedro Sula will depart from Juan Santamaría Airport at 12:30, arriving at 14:52.The return trip from San Pedro Sula will leave at 16:15, landing in Costa Rica at 18:37.
The Mexican company Volaris has announced that from June it will start operating two new frequencies, from El Salvador to Nicaragua and Guatemala, and another one between Mexico and Guatemala.
Volaris reported that the first route will connect Guatemala and El Salvador, and the second Nicaragua and El Salvador, and a third will go between Guatemala and Mexico.
As of March 14, flights between the two countries will be considered domestic, simplifying and expediting migration and freight procedures.
With the entry into force of the Regulation for the Development of Air and Airport Operations, flight frequencies between airports in Honduras and Guatemala will have the characteristics of domestic flights.
The Honduran Institute of Tourism has announced that the first flight operated by Air Europa, between Madrid and San Pedro Sula, is scheduled for April 27.
Authorities at the Honduran Institute of Tourism explained that the agreement has already been formalized and flights will begin in late April.
Laprensa.hn reports that "...The inaugural flight will depart from the Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport on Thursday, April 27, and will land at Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport.The aircraft will return to Madrid, a few hours later with passengers."
The Salvadoran Civil Aviation Authority has temporarily suspended its operating permit and granted it a period of 90 days to decide whether or not to stay in the aviation market.
The company must decide its future in a maximum period of three months, as established by the Civil Aviation Authority of El Salvador.Its executive director, Jorge Puquirre, told Elmundo.sv that"... 'Their argument (the CASI) is based on current aircraft not being profitable under the terms of the low cost tickets offered'. However, 'they are already in talks with other operators looking to lease other smaller aircraft'. If the company decides not to stay in the market, the Civil Aviation Authority has the legal power to 'cancel the operating permit permanently'."
