State-owned Costa Rican Oil Refinery (Recope) is analyzing opening two new facilities for fuel storage, distribution and sales.
One would be located in the north of the country, and the other to the south. The first one would cost around $3 million, and would be capable of serving 10% of the country’s demand by supplying 55 stations.
“The one located in the southern zone would be capable of storing 280.000 barrels, 5% of the country’s demand, supplying 33 stations”.
