Multiproyectos Group will remodel and expand shopping mall “La Pradera”, in Zone 10.
Ricardo González Díaz-Durán, executive president of Multiproyectos, owner of the complex, reported the project will be split in three phases. The first includes working on the inside of the mall and the food court.
Due to the crisis Inmobiliaria MultiProyetos has decided to stop the construction of four commercial centers that were scheduled to begin this year.
Ricardo Gonzalez Diaz-Duran, executive president of the firm which belongs to MultiInversiones Corporation, explained to Sigloxxi.com: "The projects already have the required space and the design and feasibility plans, but we have decided to wait until the economy is reactivated and for local commercial chains to increase their demand for commercial spaces before we begin the construction phase."
With $196 invested, Zona Pradera will be a corporate-residential complex with more than 800 offices and 150 apartments.
Tower 1 will offer a spectacular view of the city. At 26 storeys high, it is the first of 7 towers that will make up the biggest office complex in Central America when it is completed in 2014.
